This Pacific Northwest chapter gave us family, ferries, weather, and the breathing room to ease into the long way before heading overseas.
Poulsbo became the runway for the first real chapter of the trip.
It gave us a place to settle, finish the practical loose ends, visit family and friends, and let the shift into travel happen gradually instead of all at once. A lot of the early motion in this project runs through here.
